The Eyes Have It

One of the most dramatic changes you can ever make to your make up routine is changing what your eye make up looks like. Here are some easy ways you can change it up while still looking fantastic:

The Sophisticated Eye

1) Begin by applying a light colored eyeshadow all over your entire eyelid, right up to your brow bone (choose a complimentary shade like champagne, silver tones, or light gold colors)

2) Take a medium or dark shade of eye shadow and sweep it across the crease of your eye lid.

3) Take a light eyeshadow or a white eye pencil and apply a dot right to the inner corner of each eye. Blend it in a bit, and you’re good to go!

The Perfect Brow

No matter what shape of eyebrow you have, these steps below will help you have the best defined, best groomed eyebrows out there!

1) Begin by brushing your eyebrows straight up with an eye brow brush, and then trim any hairs that are long or curly.

2) Once trimmed, brush the eye brows back down to their natural shape. Hold a pencil right along the side of your nose to check and make sure that the inner edge of your brow lines up with the inner most corner of your eye

3) Now, take the pencil and move it so it intersects with the iris of your eye. The arch of your eyebrow should line up with that pencil.

4) Now it’s time to angle the pencil from the outer edge of your nose to the outer corner of your nose to determine just where exactly your brow should end.

5) Once you have those measurements completed, it’s time to tweeze away what can be gotten rid of! Anything that is outside of the dimensions specified above should be plucked or waxed.

6) Fill in your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil or an eye brow powder. Brush your brows again with the eyebrow brush and apply gel or a dab of hair spray to help keep your eyebrows tamed and in place.

Finding new ways to apply lipstick can be just as fun as using new techniques and colors on your eyes.

The California Girl

The California girl look is a flirty, fun lip look that’s carefree and easy to apply.

1) You can begin by applying a lip liner to your lips that is a nude shade, a neutral shade, or a very soft pink that will blend in well with your lips. Lip liner will help set your lipstick and/or lip gloss, and it will help define the shape of your lips.

2) Next, take a pinkish toned lip gloss or any neutral shade of lip gloss or lipstick, and apply it to your lips. Press your lips together, and you’re done!
